was established in 2001 by Adrian Luchini.
The firm focuses on projects of architecture,
landscape and master planning. The fundamental
pursuit of the firm is to enhance design
in every circumstance. Most projects by
LuchiniAD are produced
in collaboration with other architects,
and they range from small scale residential
to large scale institutional.
The firm was established by Adrian Luchini
who has extensive experience gained during
his associations with two of the largest
architectural and engineering firms in the
USA, in projects all over the world. This
experience is paired with his continuous
teaching activities. This dual pursuit has
been instrumental in shaping the firm's
philosophy: to constantly oscillate between
the logical and the enigmatic, the local
and the global, the explicit and the suggested.
Teaching provides the perfect arena for
speculation and the persistant testing of
ideas reelated to the conception and production
of architecture. These activities constantly
inform the design process as it relates
to specific projects. Operating in this
grey zone is a necessary step within the
intention of remaining open and flexible
to schedules, budgets and any other requisite
imposed on the design process.
The firm is conceived with flexibility in
its format to provide maximum service with
